Muzart Kidz Konnection! · POLICY & PROCEDURES


NEW STUDENT REGISTRATION: As of August 1, 2005, there will be an annual registration fee of $60.00 per family due upon registering the first family member. This fee is for the entire family and is for the fiscal year. You will not have a yearly anniversary and your registration will need to be renewed beginning January the following year. After the month of June, registration fees are prorated. This fee is non-refundable. If you are opting to take classes Per Diem you still must register your family and pay the fee. With this fee your family will enjoy discounts on birthday parties, monthly parties, free play, camp, special events and more.

TRIAL CLASSES: Due to the small ratio in our classes and the nature of the art program, Muzart does not offer free classes. However, trial classes are discounted.

TUITION: Tuition prices differ according to class. (Please see individual one-sheet descriptions for exact amounts.) Tuitions are due the 1st day of class or your childıs spot will not be held. If your child is sick on the first day, you will need to mail the payment for the full amount and schedule a make up class. Once you are enrolled in a class, refunds are NOT available. Under extreme circumstances, arrangements for credit will be made but must be approved by the Executive Director.

PRO-RATING: All semesters are pro-rated when signing up for a class that is already in progress. In addition, upon signing up for a semester, advance notice of one expected absence will entitle your child to a pro-rated tuition. This does not apply for the Transition Program. Our transition program was developed and is conducted as a pre-school. Therefore enrollment is on a monthly basis and there is not a pro-rating policy involved.

DISCOUNTS: Muzart offers a 10% discount for a siblingıs tuition. Both children should be enrolled at the same time to receive the discount. Muzart also offers a 10% discount for each multiple enrolled in the same class (i.e. twins, triplets, quadruplets).

PROCEDURE FOR MAKE-UP CLASSES: If for any reason your child will miss class, please call the Muzart studios at 954-924-1133 and inform someone or leave a message. Your child may then make up that time within the 60 days of the date that he/she missed class. (please see schedule for available times) Your child must be enrolled in a semester to make up a class. Make up classes are not to be carried into the next semester as cash credit. You may also bring a friend or sibling to class as your guest and use your make up card for that day. However, you must bring your guest with you the day of class and not give the card to a friend to use as a cash voucher.

PROCEDURE FOR MAKE-UP CLASSES: Transition Students: Our transition program was developed and is conducted as a pre-school. Therefore enrollment is on a monthly basis and there is not a make-up policy involved.

PROCEDURE FOR MAKE-UP CLASSES: Private Students: 24 hours is required if you are to miss a lesson. If you call 24 hours in advance or earlier before missing a lesson, you will be credited 50% of the lesson toward your next semester. (this credit is non-transferable to another class). If you do NOT call within the required time, you will loose the lesson. Make up lessons must be reschedule directly with the front desk at the Muzart Studios. Once you are enrolled in a class, refunds are NOT available. Under extreme circumstances, arrangements for credit will be made but must be approved by the Executive Director.

MISSED CLASSES/CREDIT: We welcome you to make-up any missed class within 60 days of the absence by contacting us in advance to schedule it. Please note - Missed classes cannot be used as a credit or money towards your next enrolled semester. Your child must be enrolled in a semester to make up a class. This does not apply to the Transition Program.

TO SCHEDULE A MAKE-UP CLASS: please call the Muzart Studios at 954 924-1133 or 305-609-6045. Any class that is made-up must be scheduled in advance as classes are private and space is limited.

HEALTHY KIDS: Please bring only healthy children to class. Your child should remain at home if he/she has had a fever, vomited, or had diarrhea within the past 24 hours or if he /she is exhibiting contagious cold symptoms (usually during the first few days of a cold.) If you see another child at Muzart with a runny nose or cough, do not automatically assume the child is contagious. Allergy symptoms resemble cold symptoms.

PARKING: There is parking along the front of the building and across the street. We do have limited parking in the rear of the building but we ask that you reserve that parking for the parents with infants, and drop-off children only. If you are dropping off a child, please do not park in the rear for more than 5 minutes. During camp times, please be advised in advance that the parking lot will be closed.

GYM OPEN-PLAY: A child that is enrolled in 2 classes or more in the same semester is entitled to open-play in the gym at no charge. Other packages are available in addition to tuitions or purchased separately. Open-Play is discounted for members and is available to the public at full price. For more information on our open-play packages, please see the front desk. During Open-Play your child(ren) need to be supervised by an adult. Muzart is not responsible for accidents that happen while a child is unattended in gym.

KEY CARD ACCESS TO MUZART: We have installed a state of the art alarm/security system with monitors and key card access. These cards are optional and will allow easy access in and out of the Muzart Studios during class hours. Your cost for the card is $10.00 and $10.00 for replacement cards. Along with your cards comes the responsibility of using them safely. Cards should not be shared, traded, or loaned. When entering the building with a key card, you should not grant access to another individual at your time of entry. That person will need to check in via the intercom or use his/her own card. In the event a card is misused, the card will be revoked.
