PIANO KEYS FOR KIDS
Private and Group Classes
Ages: 4 and up
(30 minutes classes / 45 minute classes / 60 minutes classes)
Private Lessons
Beginning with a trial lesson, students learn according to their level through private instruction and personal study.
Group Classes
Children build skills in a fun small group experience, prior to or in conjunction with private lessons.
Level 1 – Starting Out
Your child will be introduced to the piano, gain finger dexterity, and develop correct and natural hand position and posture. Music theory is introduced as they learn to listen to notes, memorize keys and notes, and begin ensemble training.
Level 2 – Moving Forward
Your child will be taught ensemble playing, using both melody and harmony, and rhythm and pitch. They will gain intonation training, refine hand position and strengthen note reading skills.
Level 3 – Steady Learning
Students will learn efficient piano study habits. They will use two hands to play independent parts at the same time, memorize and master independent study skills and build a repertoire.
