Miss Christi Mejia (Art & Drama Teacher)

Christi Mejia was born in Kingston, New York and spent most of her formative years growing up in South Florida. She graduated from the University of Miami with a Magna Cum Laude bachelor's degree in both Studio Fine Arts and Motion Pictures. After graduating, she worked mainly by commission, painting murals, portraits and decorative items. In 2005, she created a business focusing on customized pet portraits. She also has a passion for writing and illustrating children's books, with the hopes of publishing her own series. Miss Christi has been at Muzart since 2007 teaching children as young as 13 months all the way through Adults. She believes that everyone needs an outlet for self-expression, young and old alike.
