Miriam Masia
Music Together
Miriam Masia is a proud graduate of the University of Miami School of Music (go Canes!) She is a Board-Certified, Registered Music Therapist, a licensed music teacher in the state of Florida K-12 and a certified Music Together teacher. She worked in private hospitals throughout South Florida as a therapist for ten years before turning her attention to the school system in Dade County where she won Teacher of the Year for her work with developmentally delayed children. She has been teaching Music Together in this area for the past four years. She plays piano, guitar and has performed professionally as a vocalist for many years. She is happy now to be working at Muzart with the Music Together program while raising two girls with her husband Bruce.
